What is Caption Coach AI?
Caption Coach AI writes social-media captions in your voice. You give it a few of your real posts plus your niche and tone, and it generates captions for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook that sound like you — not like generic AI.
How do I train it on my voice?
During setup, paste in a few examples of your own writing and pick your niche and default tone. The more representative the samples, the closer the captions match your style. You can update your name, niche, tone, and voice samples anytime in Settings.
The captions don’t sound like me — how do I improve them?
Try adding more (and more recent) voice samples, choosing a tone that better matches the post, and being specific in the topic you enter. Captions are generated by AI and are meant to be a strong first draft — always give them a quick edit before posting.
What does Caption Coach Pro include?
Caption Coach Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that includes premium features. It’s $6.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 3-day free trial. Full details are in the Terms of Use.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, so you manage them in iOS: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Caption Coach. From there you can cancel or turn off auto-renewal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase?
If you reinstalled the app or switched devices, open Caption Coach AI and use Restore Purchases in Settings while signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds go through Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. See the Terms of Use for details.
Captions aren’t generating
A few things to check:
- You have an active internet connection (captions are generated online).
- You’re on the latest version of the app (update from the App Store).
- Try fully closing and reopening the app.

Is my data private?
Yes. There’s no account and no sign-in. Your samples, settings, and caption history are stored on your device; the only thing sent off-device is the request used to generate a caption. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my data?
Use Reset in Settings to erase everything inside the app, or delete the app from your home screen. Because we don’t keep a copy on a server, there’s nothing for us to delete on our end.
